Clinical Uses of Membrane Lipid Replacement Supplements in Restoring Membrane Function and Reducing Fatigue in Chronic Diseases and Cancer
This article describes Phospholipids & Disease Management
While not typical part of a mainstream conversation on daily supplementation, the use of phospholipids in the forms of phosphatidylcholine, phosphatidylserine and phosphatidylinositol, among others, can have a hugely positive impact on both mitochondrial and cell membrane health.
As such, there is also a role for these supplements as part of a disease management strategy when addressing cancer.
Notably, phospholipids are effective at downregulating inflammatory products such as Reactive Oxygen Species and Reactive Nitrogen Species, typical markers of both chronic and acute diseases.
