Neurocognitive Decline encompasses many diseases including dementia, Parkinson's disease and Alzheimer's. Alzheimer's disease

Alzheimer's disease and type 2 diabetes has been theorized to be connected via a metabolic syndrome with impaired insulin signaling and insulin resistance, enough that some have called Alzheimer's "diabetes of the brain" or "type 3 diabetes".
