Clumpy blood

Updated: Nov 4, 2021

Inflammation causes “Clumpy Blood” that can be seen under a microscope.

Normal blood

Clumpy Blood

Clumpy Blood with Rouleaux Formations (characteristic stacking of coins appearance) inhibit tissue perfusion. Red Blood Cells must squeeze single file through capillaries to oxygenate organs and tissues. Red Blood Cells naturally possess a negative membrane potential, and like magnets of like charge, RBC’s repel each other. In an unhealthy environment, some of the RBC’s lose their negative membrane potential and become positively charged. It is under these unhealthy conditions that the positively charged RBC’s will become attracted to the negatively charged RBC’s and clumping will result.

Reversal of Rouleaux Formations and Clumpy Blood

Adequate hydration, alkalinizing minerals, antioxidants, citrate, and Fulvic will donate electrons and break the electrostatic charges and reverse Rouleaux Formations. By simply introducing electron donors, electrostatic charges that cause Rouleaux Formations are broken. When you see the words, anions, alkalinizing, base, or antioxidant, these are all electron donors and will unclump blood. Conversely, when you see the words cations, acidity, acid, or oxidation, these all steal electrons and will clump blood.

Looking for Causes of Inflammation

There are many causes of inflammation. The most obvious causes of inflammation are the autoimmune diseases, which are often undiagnosed. Chronic infections in the GI Tract and oral cavity are endemic. Latent viral infections can lead to chronic inflammation. Smoking and obesity can cause inflammation.

An often overlooked cause of inflammation is buried deep in the lining of your intestines.

First, processed foods, chemicals, and insecticides can result in Leaky Gut. Leaky Gut is described as increased intestinal permeability to undigested foreign proteins (lectins) that pass through an inflamed intestinal lining and into the blood stream. These lectins cause systemic inflammation and are responsible for many food allergies or intolerances. The weedkiller Roundup used in farming is also responsible for Leaky Gut. Roundup weakens tight junctions between the cells lining the GI Tract. These damaged tight junctions allow toxins and foreign proteins to enter the blood stream and cause inflammation.

Inefficient energy production produces inflammatory free radicals that can cause blood to clump and the clinical symptom of fatigue. We did not perform VO2 testing, which would have told us more about the persons ability to produce cellular energy. Many patients we see complain of low energy or fatigue. Amphetamines are commonly prescribed to depressed patients for lethargy and fatigue. Amphetamines do not treat the "Root Cause" of decreased energy production which results in lethargy and fatigue.
