Doctor Howard first received an Undergraduate degree in Pharmacy from Ferris State University in 1985. This was followed by his Medical degree from The University of Texas in Houston.He continued his studies at The University of Texas by completing a Internal Medicine Internship and Anesthesia Residency. 

 

While attending medical school and working as a Pharmacist, Doctor Howard participated in the setup of an operating room pharmacy, instituted a novel cassette drug delivery system for the department of anesthesia, and published pharmaceutical research. 

 

During Anesthesia Residency Doctor Howard received a patent for

"Combination Anesthetic Mask and Oxygen Transport System." Throughout his 25 years as an anesthesiologist, Dr. Howard served in many leadership roles. He was Medical Director of Cy Fair Surgery Center, Chief of Anesthesiology at Cypress Creek Hospital, Woodland Springs Hospital and North Cypress Medical Center. Dr. Howard was one of the founding physicians and partial owner of North Cypress Medical Center in Houston. He was also the Chief of Anesthesiology for the second largest Treatment Resistant Depression ECT program in the United States. Dr. Howard and his wife Dr Michelle-Bowman Howard wrote, Anesthesia Review, first and second editions, published in both English and Chinese. 

 

While working as a board-certified anesthesiologist, Doctor Howard developed a passion for wellness, health and cancer prevention. His two proudest achievements as a physician have been reversing his father's stage 3 lung cancer using the Abscopal Effect, and the detection of his wife's malignant melanoma and ovarian cancers at Stage Zero using liquid biopsies.
